Greyson turned 10 weeks on Friday. I guess I will have to stop thinking in weeks soon. He's 2 and a half months old! He's now been to a big-boy restaurant with no major problems. Today I'm hoping to take him for his first trip (mine too!) to IKEA. He's up to 14 1/2 pounds, and he's pretty consistently going to bed at midnight and getting up shortly after 7am. Right now he's back in bed with dad, he'll usually go back to sleep after he eats at 7. I took advantage of the quiet time to have a shower and check my email.
Grey's grandparents are in town this weekend for a visit. When they arrived Grey was sleeping, his first real nap of the day at 5pm - he was fussy all day for some reason. Of course his grandma couldn't wait more than 10 minutes to wake him up and cuddle him. They got to see how much he's grown since Christmas and how interactive he is now (talking and cooing up a storm when he's in the mood). I'm working on putting together a video of Greyson "talking" that I'll post on YouTube when I finish. I just have to catch him in the act a few more times.
So we're looking forward to the rest of the weekend with the grandparents who spoil me, too. It's nice to have some company and some time off from entertaining the baby. Don't get me wrong, I loooove being home with Greyson but I am getting a little lonely as the days and weeks alone with him get long. I guess we've gotta get out more!
