Four Months!

Grey's four month birthday went by without us even noticing. I remembered at about 11:30pm in bed, and we took a moment to fathom that we've been raising this amazing baby for that long already. And yet it seems like he came home with us just yesterday.

Greyson went to his first birthday party, for Julian's 4th birthday. Of course he slept through most of the fun at Birthday World - even the indoor train roller coaster which was right next to our table. I'm convinced that Greyson only sleeps in noisy places now. He woke up at the end of the party, in time to enjoy his girlfriend Veronica's company.

We ran into our neighbors on Friday. I got to see Tina do the classic double-take, because she had no idea that we had a baby! We visited for a few minutes in the driveway and marveled how we are such close neighbors and yet they missed my entire pregnancy and Grey's first four months. They were excited to know they had a new neighbor and disappointed that the neighborhood gossip mill had failed them for so long!

Greyson is back on his normal schedule after getting me up three nights in a row. My milk supply is back in full force, he must have had a growth spurt. Last time we weighed him he was 16 lbs 10 oz. We go to the pediatrician on Wednesday and find out his official height/weight and percentages. Can't wait! Plus we'll get the scoop on solid foods and get a few more shots.
