Inchworm

Grey is getting more mobile every day. It's amazing to watch his progress. Not only is he starting to inchworm on his tummy, but he's rolling over more, and just being more interactive. He is spending more time in his exersaucer and jumperoo (THANKS Emily and Kate!!!) and learning to play with toys and teethers and hands and even touching the cat.

He has finally learned to do the motorboat mouth/raspberry, but it involves a lot of spit! He also propelled himself about two feet forward on the bed one evening. He puts his arms out to the sides, plants his face, and shoves forward with his feet. I call it the inchworm because it involves sticking his bum in the air.

We've been visiting a lot more with Auntie Jenny. She is going to watch Greyson a few days a week when I go back to work. YAY!! No daycare for a while longer :-) It's also been nice for me to have someone to talk to and someone to show the baby off to!

Greyson and I have been keeping busy, running errands, going for walks, singing and playing. We're starting to plan a family trip for July - which seems like a long way off, but will be our first big travel experience with Greyson, so it's never to early to start thinking about! We've also got a little family reunion at the beach next month, we're looking forward to that.

This weekend we're busy entertaining. We had out-of-town friends over last night for dinner, and we're having a little easter brunch with family tomorrow. Today we'll go watch dad try to play baseball with friends, that should be entertaining!

well, I can see congratulations are in order on Grey's raspberry. LOL. Just too cute. Em told me today that Kate spent much of their shopping expedition spitting on her hand and wiping it all over her face and anything else she could touch. Such a little girl. Can you picture her and Grey together right now????
