GreySON not GraCIE!

Just the other day I was saying how beautiful Grey is, and how he's pretty enough to be a girl. Then he was mistaken for a girl by a friend's mom. To be fair, she was going by his name which she misunderstood to be Gracie. Poor little guy. Last week he was confused for a Greg, now a Gracie - I hope he won't hate me for his name.

He's up on all fours, rocking away. He'll crawl this week, I'm sure of it. Here we go... I'm not sure I'm ready.

Today's his first rough day with Auntie Jenny. I've talked to her about six times and I feel helpless. He's having some crying jags, he's out of his normal schedule and he was obviously in pain at one point. Don't know if it's gas or teething or what... and he's hard to troubleshoot from work! Arg, did I just refer to troubleshooting my baby boy? That's how it feels sometimes!

Greyson's new favorite food is avocado (made with real fresh guacamoles!). Today he started oatmeal and I guess he was pretty nonchalant about that. He either loves his food (and begs for more like a little baby birdie) or he just eats it. So far he has not obviously disliked anything. He loves carrots, butternut squash, rice cereal, avocado. He eats banana, apples, and now oatmeal. He'll try sweet potatoes this weekend I think he'll love 'em.

Jenny has been taking Grey to all sorts of parks and playgrounds. I think they're having a great time together. I'm a little jealous because I have to take him to Target and Publix and the allergist's office on my days off, but we still find time for fun! Last weekend we went to Brandon's 7th birthday party and spent the day hanging out with baby Veronica and new tiny baby Lennon. It's so nice to have other babes around his age. Even though his cousin Luke seems eons older than him, it's really only four months and it's great that he'll grow up with a cousin the same age. We can't wait to meet cousin Luke later this summer.

Things are just great, I can't complain. We continue to progress, and we're still waiting for some of those major milestones. It's going to be a big week, I can feel it.

Cousin Luke looks foreward to meetin greyson soon. We saw him a couple weeks ago. He has a unique crawling stle that reminds me of a frog with a broken leg. See you in a few weeks
