100th post

Oh dear, where have I been? Planning, throwing, and recovering from a 4th of July party I guess. Each year we have the big party at our house, it's a way of giving back to our friends that host the rest of the gatherings. It's one of the few time we have a shin-dig at our house, for whatever reason. And it's usually a big to-do, lots of food, lots of people, kiddy pool, etc. This year was no exception.

Greyson was a trouper. Or was he a trooper? Gotta look that up. Regardless, he seemed to enjoy the fireworks, watching them with interest. They didn't startle or scare him, he just watched. About half way through the fireworks show in the backyard, I took him inside, nursed him to sleep and then I enjoyed the rest of the party as an adult without a 20+ pound appendage. I can't believe he slept through all of that noise, but I'm very thankful! Of course he was up at 6:30 the next morning, but that's to be expected.

Now we're gearing up for our next few adventures. Busy busy busy as usual.
