Catching up

Hmm... what else has Greyson been up to?

He went to Jacksonville with us last weekend for a quick trip to meet lots of new friends. Some of my pals from library school, and lots of high school and college friends. Greyson was a hit at the surprise anniversary party we attended, getting lots of oohs and ahhhs especially when he fell sound asleep on his Dad's shoulder and hung out that way for the rest of the party. He got a little out of his routine that night, but it was worth it for a nice mini-getaway. I'll post photos from that party soon (as soon as I get a spare minute - ha!)

Greyson had a nice visit with his Grandparents a few weeks ago. They came to spoil him and spend a few days with him while I was at work. We all went out for German food and Grey enjoyed the accordion music! Tropical Storm Fay was making it's way through Central Florida and Grey got his first taste of wet, rainy storm season.

In other news, Greyson is getting better at being in someone's arms besides his mama's. He'll let friends (and even strangers) hold him and keep him company now. He loves to open and close doors and cabinets. His favorite toy is an old spice jar filled with popcorn kernels. He is ready to donate some of his "baby" toys to friends and family, he's outgrown a lot of clothes and toys already! He is occasionally sleeping through the night, thank god. And he's at his third day of daycare today - with no problems. The ladies there love his little monkey face and twisty wrists. I miss my days off with him, but our evenings are much better now, as a family. Looking forward to tomorrow and the start of our weekend together.
