What's new with the Goose? Yesterday he started stacking blocks. For so many of his milestones I cannot point to an exact date... I'm not 100% sure when he smiled at someone for the first time, when he laughed, what counted as his first day of crawling or walking. And who knows if he's been doing new tricks as daycare for weeks before he does them at home! I'm not a stickler for exact dates, but it's nice to know approximations for when he started doing new things. We've got a baby book, and I filled out a lot of the info in the beginning, but I'm more likely to rely on this blog as a record of accomplishments... which is why I try to remember to post about new things.
Mike was outside covering plants last night (we actually had a freeze) and Greyson and I were playing with his block set. I always stack them and he knocks them down. Until yesterday. He actually stacked them 6 blocks high. I was so goofy, clapping and yelling. He probably wondered what all the fuss was. I had to call his Grandpops to tell him the news, since he got Greyson the blocks for his birthday and he's always interested in his grandson's latest adventures.
We're so looking forward to a visit from Grandpops and Jo Grandma this weekend. We might even go to the zoo before our yummy German dinner on Saturday.
