There are a few words that Greyson has trouble pronouncing, as I'm sure is typical of most toddlers. It took him a few days to master "hospital" after he got his train set which has a little hospital building and ambulance. It was hos-ti-pul for a while but he practiced and practiced and now says it with no problem.
We've notice a few other words, like the infamous "Happy New Yurrrr!" that he so proudly declared for weeks. Eventually I had him say it so many times, he started catching on that it was funny and he exaggerated his mis-pronunciation to make it even cuter.
The latest examples to pop up are Sea Wurrrld and skurrrrrrul (squirrel). He tried and tried to get squirrel right. I overheard him in the office talking to Mike.
G: I saw a baby skwurrrr...
M: squirrel
G: I saw a baby skurrrr....
M: squirrel
G: I saw a baby skwullll...
M: squirrel
G (noticing me): Mama, I saw a baby chipmunk!!
